I just picked up a Rock Island 1911 tactical last night actually. Its going to be 540.00 by the time its in my possession. I do not feel that is a horrible price though. Plus the guy that is picking up the A2 clone is giving me a 1911 plus cash for that rifle.
It will be getting stripped down pretty qucikly, cerakoted, put back together with quality parts. Going to cerakote it at the same time as my AR15 for matching combo.

I am more excited about this then any car part imaginable.

I didn't feel like a newb on this forum as much. Honda-tech broke me of that. This forum was more searching ahead of buying my car then joining.
Except searching on this forum is just short of a nightmare.

100% agree...why else would we take the abuse and come back for more. I can't tell you how embarrassing it is to tell people I "fell down the stairs again" after logging off of AZ.

So...im getting my 99 TL's state inspection done yesterday and while I was there a guy pulls up in his truck, gets out and walks over to where the mechanic and I were at and asked about getting a timing belt job done...

makes small talk then starts talking about "acuras", lol. He mentions his buddy has a TL on 22's and I said "Oh yeah?". He got all excited talking about the work he and his buddy put into it to make them fit. I was like "kewl". than he is looking around mah car (the 99 TL) asking if I wanted to sell it. I said NO, but I would sell him my 05 TL. (his eyes got BIG)

He said thats what year his friends TL was and he was thinking about doing the same thing so him and his friend could ride "clean". I told him he wouldn't have to do any work, because it was done already. I said Im dropped on 19's with coilovers, and it hasn't even passed 50k miles yet. I proceeded with pictures and all he could say is "19's is an odd size" and "whats coilovers?". Even the mechanic got in on the conversation saying "He has never seen wheels fit so close without rubbing".

I guess he didn't know much about modifying cars except getting big wheels and beat/cut things to make them fit. He passed on the deal, Oh well.

Guy must have been watching too many youtube videos of Underground Rim King.

Just noticed my left depo tail light is fogging on the inside and it looks super shitty. Will the blow dryer method work for getting rid of all condensation? and then maybe duct taping the back to prevent any moisture from getting in?

^were they previously modified?

you'll need to go over the entire tail light AFTER removing condensation and see if you can find where the leak is. once you locate it, use some black RTV silicone over the area and let it dry and then reinstall.

i get a bit of fogging in my DEPO tails when i wash the car, but it generally goes away shortly after.

I just bought them from USR, so I didn't cut them or anything. And that's weird because I don't get any fogging when I wash my car, only when the temperature drops in the mornings. I'm thinking like somehow when I turn the heat on in my car it somehow makes it into the tail light, and then the cold from the outside turns the warm air into fog. That makes some sense right?
