I found out the hard way. Back when I was in high school, I worked at a gas station that was across from a seafood restaurant that also delivered (probably a bad sign off the bat). The managers of the gas station and restaurant had a "food for gas" arrangement going so I got some clam chowder during my shift. Needless to say, I left early and stayed in bed the next 3 days

Might want to get checked by an allergist to find out what protein you are allergic to. Might be interesting to find out what in general you are allergic to as well.

It's true. Maybe he needs one with Mr. Smith, too.

The one with the bikes and tarantulas in the SWEDT thread might be my favorite, though. Well, and Mikey's with odehboy. That was inspired.

No way.. you should get tested. Possible chemical reaction or allergic to algae?

OMGIloveyou. They just don't do much brisket around these parts. TX food >>>> *

And yeah, after spending several hours alternating between evacuating my GIT every way possible and lying on the bathroom floor...I did get tested a couple of days later. Very allergic. And very sudden. Big fat bummer.

Hello! New member here. I thought a general discussion thread might be the appropriate place to ask what i might need to put 07 type s headlamps in my 05 base. I tried to search, but haven't exactly mastered that yet. I found a thread that said its possible, but wasn't in any detail. I have the chance to get it done tonight, but tonight only, so any information would be appreciated! Thank you.

welcome fat kid.
the type-s headlights will have no problem bolting right up to your 05 base.
the electrical connections are shaped differently tho.
you can use FORCE to jam them together
or you can splice.
it's your call.

Mondays.

Dropped off the FX for the body-work repair from my accident today. Pimping it up in a 2014 Malibu.

Awesome, thanks for the reply!
I would prefer to splice the connectors in, so thats what ill do im sure. I did read in another thread that some of the lamps could melt the housing, but im guessing if theyre spliced in, it wont be a problem. I know the side markers and all wont be too bad, but i would assume the connector for the HID box will have to be spliced. Any chance it'll have the same connector?

Thanks again.

you're pretty much confused and mistaken.
there will be one connector that is different. you can jam it in and it will be fine. or you could splice it.
all the rest of the connections will fit and no chance of anything burning/melting, because you're not doing anything different.

after re-reading, i'm the one that misled you.
sorry!
there will be one connection that is different for each headlight.
everything will bolt and connect right up except for that one!

It's not bad for a family sedan. Definitely no FX or MINI.

Pretty decent amenities overall. It'll do for the next 3-4 days...
