Sup.
Even though I own an Infiniti, I'm partial towards the Q7.
Land Rover Range Rover is great too.

My next car is definitely back to sedan/coupe world, though.
Definitely leaning towards a BMW 5-series or equal.
Gotta upgrade house first. Get a bit more square footage and etc.

My Mom had that one
No way, saucy with a stereotypical comment. I'm shocked.
I agree to a certain degree...BUT the CTS Vagon and and new SRX. C'mon...
Aside from Betty having one, there's this hot chick that lives down the block from us in her 30's that has one too. I always tell Betty it could be confusing if I accidentally end up in HER townhouse one day.

Yummy, house definitely takes priority over a car....I had been saving for a GTR for couple year and the wifey had some savings too, so it was either getting a GTR or down paying 20% for the house...
well we made the right decision and own a house now....its a great feeling that the monthly payments are not going down the drain when you rent...
plus the market has started to climb so the homes are getting pricier and the interest rates are going up as well....

well, if we're talking redesign...Ford and Mazda are doing big things too. Head turners for sure. Even Hyundai and Kia.
Fk it, I'm keeping the 3G. Still a great jack of all trades.

love the 3G TL....looks great, decent power, low maintenance....a great car, even a 10 year old TL does not look outdated....

We live in a nice house right now at just 2100 square feet. However, we kinda want to move more upscale. More of an ego thing. Kinda want a 3-car garage.
I also want a developed basement with glass cabinets so that I can finally display all my robots.

sounds like you have it all planned
we are planning on finishing our basement pretty soon....Since neighborhood houses are still under construction, I just walk up to the workers and ask if they want "dinero" to frame the basement....I will be going back to get everything else done as well....
seems cheaper this way
the way I want it, the builder wanted 50K....I was like "aint nobody got time fo dat"....these guys will do it for less than 6-7K

DIY for time spent only!
Seriously it's not overly hard. It amazes me how some can rip apart an engine yet can't put some studs and drywall up. Lol
I would suggest having a professional do the mudding though. As that's an art form.

^^^ well cant beat $500 to frame with all the labor and parts and $500 to drywall....
I will be doing the electrical, plumbing, ducting and insulation myself
then additional $$$ will be spent on tiles, lights, faucets, carpet, etc
the only reason why I wanted to go this route was by the time I get the material and tools, it will be way over $1000 for framing and dry walling

I was trying to get my 5th-->3rd gear downshifts down on the highway but I couldn't do it smoothly without lurching forward on the downshift.
Anil, I'm going to try and refrain for from grabbing you by the ear here and pulling you over to the side of the room to chew your head off. (Hehe) Whatever it is you do, DO NOT buy a Chrysler vehicle. They are the biggest, cheapest, POS's out on the road and I'm being totally honest here: MAKE UP 35-40% of my shops business here. They have soooooo many electrical problems, especially the Grand Caravans and Grand Cherokees, that people quickly end up regretting their decision on the purchase of the vehicle.
End rant.
End rant.

Maj, do the math....
wood framing for 850 sq ft, nails, glue, etc, nail shooter, hydraulic pump, sheetrock, wood cutter and medical expenses coz I know I will chop my finger off....
$1000 seems like a great price for materials and labor for framing and dry walling 850sq ft....

Too much money.. everything seems inexpensive.
Too asian.. everything is expensive.

Couldn't you rent all of those tools. I know around these parts you can get a nail gun for $35 a day. Saw for the same price.
Would bring costs down but then factor in your time and it might be about the same anyways.

Is there some kind of safety switch on the car that prevents you from shifting into any gear? I had an instance where I couldn't get the car to shift into any gear, not sure what happened. I pumped the clutch a few times and then I was able to shift it into gear.
This was after I was slowing down from a hard launch. Hasn't happened at all before that on the entire 1000 miles I've already put on the car.

My slave cylinder was leaking at the o ring on the end of it after only 35K miles.
Jack up front, and take off under panel trim and look at your slave and the rubber boot on the end. If she wet, it's that.
Luckily, it's going to be a great time to do the slave cylinder checkvalve delete on your new one while already off the car.

JJH check fuse #32 in the the driver wheel well...you're welcome
Maj, if the quote was $2000 I would have done it myself....I check for supplies and they (lumber supplier) wanted $400 in supplies ONLY...checked Home Depot and that came out to 450 something....
either way, you making me do more research....
Yummy....am Indian, my "maths" is wayyy better
Beezle, yeah you could rent the tools but am not sure if I will even break even $500 even after I do all the work myself....A friend of mine has done his basement himself recently, am gonna ask him for the cost of materials and make my decision accordingly....

Can you guys do me a favor lol? I noticed something different on the backseat floor of my 6MT than my 5AT. It's almost like it sits higher as there is a noticeable obtrusion that isn't on my 5AT. Anyone else have it? I put the car on a lift and went over it with a fine tooth comb, so I'm sure it's just me being paranoid.
Edit: This is right behind the drivers seat on the rear driver seat passengers floor next to the hump that runs down the center of the car.
