^best quote ever. She should be flattered lmao.
The cost of living is what killed it for me. I couldn't bare to live with my parents anymore, and even making well over $100k a year, i couldn't afford to be on my own. Once i moved away I realized how crappy the quality of life was too. Up until that point I had nothing to compare it to . Put it this way, I used to swear I was an untouchable badass walking around in a short skirt 4 am with my girls and groups of strange guys but now? Id be scared to walk around 4am there even with an AR-15 hidden in my luggage lol. Sounds like you were in the Brighton Beach/Coney Island part of Bklyn. I used to work at the aquarium there. Russian Mafioso Central lol.

You'd like to stay in Texas? What is it that you like so much ab it there? I'm starting to hateeee where I am now. Always looking for possible relocation areas since my husband's job is pretty much a national company so our options are pretty diverse.

It's TexASS.

Dallas is the brains, Austin is the heart, San Antonio is the stomach, and Houston is butthole.

What's not to like.. low cost of living, no state tax, guns, sports, trucks, steers, and queers..

Ever think about installing an OS? They work better that way.

wtf. go with wackers recommendation it works. If you just installed another hdd and already have one it could be the bios trying to boot from the new hdd rather than the old one with the OS on it.

@ new HDD and no OS....not shit....what did you expect all your files to transfer automatically LOL...

Couple options:

1> USB boot up disk with a windows OS CD
2> Windows OS CD with boot up option
3> Boot using USB HDD

now if you have both HDD installed, then just change the boot order and you should be good....

obviously

I don't really want to purchase another os, when I already had a working version on this computer.
Going to borrow an installation disc with windows xp and go from there(Option 2).
Tried the recovery disc I burned before the old drive went, but it did nothing. Going to try it again after I get windows back on it. Getting anything off the old drive is impossible, it's done for.

XP? That's kind of old school. The recovery disc only works if you already have the OS installed. Borrowing a disc will work for the install but you'll have to activate afterwards. If it's OEM you'll be screwed. Make sure it's retail. Then you can activate by phone if you need. Just make sure to answer "1" if it asks how many computers has this copy of windows been installed on

Installing my Tanabe Medallion catback tomorrow. Can't wait Took on a 2013 turbo'd WRX this morning on the way to work. Nice looking car. Looked like it was fresh off the lot. He launched like a bat out of hell. My worn out DWS's had trouble gripping well into 2nd. But I pulled on him at about 60mph. By 80 I had him by a car length and shut it down. All thanks to 2nd . It pulls nicely from 50-70 or so. We were in a 55 so I didn't want to push my luck. Turned out to be an older guy who was totally cool. Rolled his window down at the next light and we chatted for a minute. He asked if I was stock and I told him I as NA but had done some exhaust work and weight reduction. He told me if he'd had his Camaro he would have left me behind. I just smiled as said "probably" but then thought of Tim's Camaro video

ahh how I miss the old windows 95/98/ME....I remember in an interview the Director for Finance was on the phone with someone trying to get access to her old laptop...

I asked her if it was running Windows 95/98...and she said yes....booted up in dos, deleted the pwl file and rebooted....

instant access to the laptop and job offer with more monies

I really have lost touch with that side of me....now I dont even have the latest bootleg cd for windows with the CD key

I loved ME...just coz it was sooo easy to mess with....

Loved 98 coz it NEVER FROZE or hanged on me...

Loved 95 coz it was a piece of shit....cracked me up everytime with the lack of security/any features actually....

XP SP2/SP3 was one of the best OS's in my opinion....the windows 7 is/was shitty...and not worked on the windows 8 yet....
