Yeah, they’re considering it. The only reason the republicans didn’t support it was because it was 1815 pages of the heroes bill and for some reason the word firearms was mentioned over 1000+ times in a stimulus bill so they didn’t know what the dems were trying to pass. But yeah they’re in heavy support for it since there is possibly a 2nd wave coming and we’re still not done with the 1st wave

Yesterday my older spawn locked himself in our living room to take a pre-AP exam online. 2 questions, 1 hour. As he hit the submit button for the 2nd question our crappy DSL glitched out and dumped the connection. He logged back on and all his work was gone. He flipped out, as usual, but I found the date for the makeup exam.
Tomorrow we switch to fiber optic. Fingers crossed that the connection is more reliable...

Oof. I've been there before. That's the sort of lesson that can only really be learned by experiencing it.
I habitually Ctl-C before hitting the submit button on things like that which I don't want to recreate due to external fuckups like that.
That, or composing everything in Notepad before Ctl-C/V in one shot.
Shame on you for not taking the teaching opportunity to tell the kid that AP courses are for nerds and dorks and that cool kids smoke the reefer out in the shed. And then taken the kid outside and sold him some pencil shavings for $20. That's lesson #2.

I was in AP history in HS.
I slept every day in class.
The teacher was an older Hispanic woman, super quiet and sweet.
I think she figured I was the smart rockstar and that I'd ace the AP test.
Got a 1 because I was out in the shed and chasing skirt a lot at the time.
The very next day she came up very quietly and pinched my arm hard AF
and whispered in my ear "if you ever fall asleep in my fucking class again,
I will fail you".
