Ok. So I'm still feeling the same. Not much better or worse. I feel like shit at times than almost ok other times.

I'm on my third day of antibiotics, swelling is down some on the sides of my neck but I think it got bad because I think it might be in my thyroid.

If it starts to improve I know I'll be ok, going to take Tylenol with asprin to reduce fatigue and swelling.

I hope it doesn't turn into menangutis or something worse.

I'll be alone for the next 5 days and still need to work.

Do you have a follow-up with the doctor? Most important is you rest up and recover.

I saw a DMD Tuesday.

Next Thursday I see an oral surgeon to consault some extractions.

I still have to work. I missed a day last week from not feeling well. I usually sleep 4 hours, work 5 hours then sleep 4 more hours when I work early mornings.

I never saw an MD. I don't believe this is anything but a dental infection that has gone to my thyroid.

It is scary seeing how bad my symtoms sound compared to other diseases.

I'm maintaining myself right now.

My only fear is that I go to sleep then wake up in really bad shape but my mom has to go out of state to work. If she called out, she would loose $1K.

If I called out I'd loose $200+. I don't make much but it pays most of my rent.

I have reasons for neglecting my heath a little. I'm on antibiotics and that just has to cut it if I'm not in ER worthy condition.

Atleast until Tuesday maybe Monday.

If I feel like I'm about to die then yeah, F-it and straight to ER of course...

My face is also kinda numb but it's been like that since about a year ago when I had to go out and hurry for a job. I think that is caused by anxiety.

I also think I have a testosterone imbalance which causes my pectoral glands to ache occasionally.

Once again, intermittent and has been going on for a while.

Don't take Tylenol. Take Advil.

Tylenol will fuck up your liver if you exceed the dosage. Advil will just burn a hole in your stomach but you can recover.

IMO, the only time to take Tylenol is if you need to do 24/7 dosage and then you alternate Tylenol/Advil but only as long as necessary, then stop the Tylenol

Take Aleve for the swelling or ask your MD if you can get a prescription for Toradol.

I don't have a doctor. I could go to an urgent care center.

Urgent care may not give you a prescription for Toradol but they could possibly give you a dose. It works wonders on pain associated with inflammation. Aleve has done me well over the years. Hope whatever it is gets over and done with soon.

K. Well, not a doctor or a dentist but if the issue is being treated and you have a path to recovery as recommended by the health professionals, you should be okay. Just don't strain yourself and listen to your body.

Just gonna ride it out for now. It's almost like it's getting better and worse at the sane time. Like it started on my left side, moved around to the thyroid area, exploded, but now it almost seems to be moving around to the right. Maybe it's the antibiotics starting to work.

My throat is a tad sore and I also tase infection a litle bit in my saliva. Still have a pecan in my neck and the swelling on the sides isn't as bad. I had hot/cold chills but not too bad today compared to Tuesday-Thursday.

Hope to God I don't need anything major.

Funny (not funny) part was is that I was never really diagnosed with anything. I just told them I think I had an abscess and it became infected causing neck swelling and they started doing dental imaging and percribed antibiotics and referred me to an oral surgeon. All she did was quote me for a bunch of fillings.

I think she forgot about the infection part. But IDK...

Thanks, guys!!!!

Starting to think I'm having a Hashimotos attack based upon some research. Didn't visit a Dr. so I can't say for sure but I do fit some of the preliminary symtoms. I have been fatigued and stressed over the past year. I haven't had a healthy lifestyle and I guess adding work and not sleeping is taking a toll.
