A few years ago at a neighborhood welcome party we had in our old hood this one neighbor was bragging about being an audiopedophile to me
and my Dad. He walked us over to his place and we sat in a room with 2 cellophane membrane speakers that cost something like 25 grand......
Wood paneling on the walls...these old 1950's shitty wicker chairs alone in the room facing the speakers.
with the guy standing behind us over our shoulders with look of pure pride on his face. I got a very distinct "Dexter" vibe from him...he played
some weak shit my Dad hated and the guy looked appalled when Dad asked him to crank Joe Satriani's "Surfing with the
Alien".
My dad ruined a lot of dinner parties with that song on 10. He used to have that Maxell guy sitting in a chair being
