You need to make him realize that the reward is at the end. If you can have someone help you by standing at the outlet with treats, you send him, they treat. He'll figure it out. But you cannot reward a wrong behavior. Gently reset him if he does it wrong and keep retrying, only rewarding when he gets it right.
