Sounds like someone was probably busted being a watermelon at work and got some time off by HR to go and think about it.

Welp... I got to enjoy the car like this for 15 minutes. Now I'm going back to stock
Keeping the wheels and tires, but reverting back to stock suspension. Why? Because it's been a nightmare and I'm tired of this. All I wanted was a nice, 1" conservative drop. So lowering springs were $315 US, new. Ok, no biggie. Wait, now I need front upper control arms, rear camber arms, rear traction arms, and rear toe bolts with drilling out the current mounting bracket, to make the slots bigger for the eccentric bolts?
I finally got everything more or less finished. Took it for an alignment yesterday, only to find out I need to book it in again to get the front alignment done (they said the car wasn't booked in for a long enough time, and to adjust the FUCA, you need to pop the ball joint out, blah blah, not enough time, need to come back. Well the rear end is fully sorted out, but the front- my camber isn't bad... within spec, but my caster is way out to lunch. All they did was adjust the toe up front, bringing the camber into spec, but they didn't actually change anything on the FUCAs. The result is the car is super squeaky now, coming from the rubber mounts from the front sway bar.
So to date, just to lower the car one inch, I had to:
* buy lowering springs for 315US
*By front upper control arms, rear traction and cambers arms and toe bolts- 625US
*Alignment- already paid 120US, apparently need to pay another 160US for the front to be done right. Sigh.
And even after all that, I'm being told I bought the *wrong* arms. I went with Z1 parts- what I thought was a huge supporter of the Z community, with well engineered and well priced parts. I've now learned their FUCAs suck and the ball joint is known to snap. Great. That's exactly what I need to happen on the track when I'm barreling at 105mph into a concrete wall My other option? To go with SPL branded parts... the most expensive suspension parts ever. Seriously, FUCAs alone go for 900US That's like $1400, to my door For two arms. That's it.
So the right way I should have done it is:
* Same springs: 315US
* SPL front upper control arms: 900US
* SPL rear camber arms: 300US
* SPL rear traction arms: 330US
* alignment: 240US (these are easier to adjust)
For a total of 2085US + S/H + border crossing fees... to lower the car 1". Yeah. No thanks.

I'm having a hard time remembering popsicle flavors. What was pink supposed to be again? I haven't had a normal popsicle in about a decade.
But Cyclones? Oh man... I crushed a box of those myself, one evening, just last week
Mmmmm...

Was in Disney last week Monday, was supposed to come back Friday. Came home Wednesday instead because mother in law was really sick.
Mother in law passed away Friday night. It's tough, emotional all of it. I never experienced death to some as close and boy I am not taking it well. Didn't come to work yesterday, came today and going tomorrow then I'm off for another week, for the funeral etc.
My oldest son, even though he is 4 understands it. He said he's not eating because he misses her, the wife kids and I would usually go over there 3 times a week.

Kev, I'm so sorry to hear. I'm sure she was a wonderful lady.
I hope you can be comforted knowing you gave her three wonderful and beautiful grand babies.
Stay strong for mom and kids.
Much love.

A lot depends on what's going on in the Automotive world at that time (for example, if there's an S4 available in 2020)
I'm really digging a like 2016 Corvette which in 2020 will probably be under $40K and cheaper to insure than any newer Audi. I'm just not sure I'm ready to commit to driving it every day.

Basic bitch Z51 2016 with 7k miles for $37,999
Another 2016 basic bitch in blue with 53k for $38,900
Here's a less basic bitch Z51 2015 with 39k miles for $40,230
Z06 2016 with 3k miles for $46,500
Another Z06 2016 with 21k miles for the same price
Stop being a basic bitch Kurt.. trade in that VW for a Chevy
