Indeed Greace will happen. Given y'all's current health state and the house situation, not to mention, covid, it's probably going to make for a better trip to wait until everything in life is smooth sailing before taking a big trip like that anyway.
So your house is behind another house? I know we have population density headaches in the New Orleans area but you guys must be completely jammed in there to have private houses sharing street access. Not used to that.
I too, would be worried about my vehicles in the situation of a house being demolished and rebuilt right by my driveway. Definitely keep an eye on your cars and try to mitigate the possibility of nail related tire punctures.

Null and proud of it
My home was built on the last 1/4 of the property. I have a large driveway and a smaller backyard while a majority of the surrounding homes have no driveway and a large backyard. Driveway space is prime gold in my area. Why was my home constructed this way? Because the house being demolished was built in 1902 and during those times my property lot was just an empty lot. The home on the other side was built in 1904. Naturally, when it came time to build my home the only thing that made sense was to build towards the back end of the property space. All this time since 1932 my home has never had another house directly next to it, which is also prime gold as people want more privacy. Now the town allowed and the corrupt assholes on the board, allowed this new 2 family to be build on an undersized lot 25 x 150 and the new two family ends right before my side windows, sparing me about 3-4 feet before it obstructs any of my views. Unfortunately now, I won't be able to enjoy my front balcony without having this bullshit next to me and someone looking right at me. It's the unfortunate part of living where I am because it's "city" life and the houses are stacked next to each other. As i've gotten older, I realize this isn't how I want to live. I live right across from NYC because of covid, a lot of people are leaving the city and moving into my area. They realized being locked up in a small apartment wasn't for them (go figure..) The house that's being demolished sits along side my driveway. Once this process starts, I can only imagine the shit I'll be dealing with. Especially with these cock suckers blocking my driveway. I'm still waiting for a construction agreement to be done between the new owner with his lawyer and myself. I certainly don't want them on my property and they should be held liable for all damages that occur including additional costs to keep my vehicles safe and clean.
Really? That's some history right there!
I've never heard of a lot being split to accommodate more houses like that, although, it is logical from an acratechul perspective.
25x150 lot. So is this going to be a shotgun house?
Where I live, most of our lots are 50x120 or 60x85 or something like that (Metairie Louisiana Area) The house I grew up in had about 3ft separation between the eve's of the houses. If my neighbor would cough in his kitchen, I could hear it in my living room. LOL
I remember seeing your driveway pictures before and it definitely seemed like you had a lot of neighbors.
I'd be worried they'd block your driveway with a dumpster or equipment or something. Know your rights and take appropriate action to minimize the sufferings on your end.

It's be a real shame if something terrible happens to that new house during construction. I've heard that sometimes the lumber they use in framing will just, like, catch fire. And I've heard electrical fires just, start on their own, sometimes.
It'd just be a shame if that happens.

Well, unfortunately my drivers front tire was flat this morning and I couldn't fill it with air. I removed the wheel and checked, it seems as if the inner bead is no longer good. Being sunday, I cant find a single shop to attempt a repair. Naturally to add to an already expensive month, I bought 4 new tires for the work wheels since they are 7 years old and had some dry rotting. Heres to another 1k spent on tires.. being pissed already, I'm not doing the video shoot with the TL but will be doing it with the M40i. Time is limited for me. So at this point, I don't know if I'll have time to do a video shoot with the TL. Anyway, hopefully mid week I can get 4 sets of tires installed and have the rim beads properly cleaned. If the weather holds out for next sunday and I'm not working or on the clock, I will attempt it to do the video shoot then.

tell that to the fucktarded fanboys on this forum. As much as I love my TL, its one of the rare few in near flawless condition and well modified. Whats more astonishing, the bmw guys like my Acura and never bashed it. In fact some had the same 3rd gen TL. Its refreshing being part of a different community where these guys are real enthusiasts. The acura scene is full of shit now and the fanboys on this site make it a joke to be here. Anyway the video shoot is going well. Heres the 1st location of the day

Your 3G is definitely one of a kind, and preserves an era that has partially diminished over the years. It's a shame the TL wasn't able to be featured, I totally understand that frustrof having something fail when you need it most. Despite that, the BMW is probably going to look extraordinary!!!!!
Make the best of the day, Gus!

I'm slowly working through room updates so I've been preemptively looking at fans and they've come a long way since the builder installed these cheap ass exhaust fans. There are some that will move serious scfm and be damn quiet.
You should be able to find something that will not only clear the smell, but might actually create enough negative pressure to actually suck the farts right out of your ass.
