I used my flip flop at various points of the door bottom to teeter it until an upper hole lined up.

100% correct on that. I remember years back Corporate walking through the job site and were highly impressed over the quality of these doors. A solid door cuts down on the noise as well (insert sexual joke). Our home was built in 1932 and 4 rooms still have the original doors with frames / trim work. All quality material that's lasted all these years. All the other doors in our home were replaced with solid cores as well. Renovation work on our home has been going on 5 years now and i'm nearing the end. This year I plan on having the exterior aluminum siding repaired, cleaned and painted. I also need to reset all the driveway pavers. Seems never ending.

Didn't mention it here, but for our 5 year anniversary, wifey paid for a professional video shoot of my TL. Looks like this Sunday is perfect (weather). Unfortunately it's been raining on and off the last three days. After work tomorrow I plan on detailing both BMW's to knock it off my list and work on the TL on Saturday. Both Bmw's are going in for basic service on friday. Both still have free maintenance so might as well take advantage of it. Honestly, I'm excited to have a video of my TL done but nervous at the same time..

Thanks MM! We had booked tickets to go to Greece for our Anniversary but covid happened and it all went to shit.

I changed some plans around last night. I contacted the company doing the video shoot on my TL, he agreed to do a video shoot on the M40i Looking like a busy Sunday!

It all worked out for the best anyway. I needed surgery and we are very busy with work. We haven't been on vacation in two years now this makes three years. Wifey is not happy but things happen for a reason. Greece will happen next year (god willing) and everything else should fall in place with getting the house completed. Unfortunately with most NJ towns, the zoning board approved for the house next to me to be demolished and a new two family is being built, all corruption to get more taxes. The biggest issue, these lots are over 100 years old and back then there wasn't much of a say on property lines. The house being demolished sits on my driveway (Zero setback). Now this cock sucker will level the house and I need to worry about my vehicles and property being damaged. One thing at a time as I always say. We will see what happens when it happens. Eventually we will move. Market is hot right now and our home in a prime location, but i'm not ready to go and the house is paid for. Photo shoot will definitely be worth it all. His work is incredible.

We may do a road trip on Saturday. And crazy but it'll be the S5's first road trip because pretty much all city driving since taking possession of it.

It was so cute earlier... Mrs Wagon was like, we should go to the beach tomorrow!

And WagonJr was all excited, like "YAY!!! Beach tomorrow!"

And I got to fucking smash his dreams like a hollow core door: "You aren't going anywhere, you got school"

Mrs Wagon: Oh yeah, school.

Indeed Greace will happen. Given y'all's current health state and the house situation, not to mention, covid, it's probably going to make for a better trip to wait until everything in life is smooth sailing before taking a big trip like that anyway.

So your house is behind another house? I know we have population density headaches in the New Orleans area but you guys must be completely jammed in there to have private houses sharing street access. Not used to that.

I too, would be worried about my vehicles in the situation of a house being demolished and rebuilt right by my driveway. Definitely keep an eye on your cars and try to mitigate the possibility of nail related tire punctures.
