I went back to Denver for a few days last week and they had 3 straight days of record breaking heat. Houston was unseasonably cool and dry.
Got back to Houston and now it's a pre-Tropical storm... intermittent heavy rain and general sogginess. Denver is cool and pleasant.
Fuck. This. Shit.

Basically.
I had a 3-segment folding reed screen on the patio from when MrsWagon had the beehive back there, and it blew over. Knocked over a potted ficus too. So I picked it back up this morning before going to work.
It was tragic.

Yeah. She moved them to a bigger field on on the other side of town. Coincidentally, my neighbor, Mr. Number One Asshole Guy, got his panties in a knot and complained to the city and HOA. But by the time they came out to investigate, the bees had been gone for a while. But still. Fuck that guy.
