I figured replacing just the bushing was the way to go. Rent or buy a pittman puller and find a shop to press in new bushings. I'm on page 16 now. Looking forward to getting to the tool you speak of.

I can build one for you. I have to go to florida to drop off another one this spring for my brother. Maybe pick up my food saver then as well.
The last 2 I built averaged around $1100.00. Found some ammo FTF in Houston you would just have to find mags.

I don't really build pistols.
I do know a local gunsmith though that is the IT person at work. He is a gun nut and reloader as well. Our 19 yo dispatcher is a long distance competitive shooter as well.
But if you want a small pistol look at the Ruger LCP or LCR.
There are some other sub-compacts out there as well that are real nice.
