I should have gotten the Apple stocks 3 years back when I was going to...
Jan 2009, Apple stocks were $80
Sep 21 2012, Apple stocks are $700
instead i put my monies on a stupid pharma company which was coming out with a drug for the cure of cancer...apparently the drug was not FDA approved and hence the company went under....they are still trying to come out with something and if they do, i might get some big returns...

:what:
you summed it up perfectly....the "air of superiority"
i cracked up when Jobs said "if your phone is dropping signal coz you are holding it in a particular way then I guess you are holding it wrong"
I was like WTF really....but people who have their iphones and havent played with an Android enough will never like the Android only coz they feel their product is superior....but once the convert over to the dark side, its like (from Hotel California): you can check out anytime you want but you can never leave
The wife has a 4, I have a 4s, and my oldest son has Android. When shopping for my sons phone we thought....Sure, its cheaper, getting rave reviews, 4G LTE, and we figured it would give us a good chance to see what its all about. Sorry, but IT SUCKS!!! We live out in the sticks and have trouble getting cell signal. Both the wife and I can use our iPhones in the house. He has to go outside, down the driveway, and up the road and it sill drops the calls. It is quirky, locks up, and the battery life blows. The way the text messages are laid out are plain confusing. The only thing good about it is the camera.....

Since we're still on this topic...
Coming from an Android phone...I can say the iPhone is 1000x easier to navigate, is much faster and smoother operating. Easier and less complicated interface as well.
That's why I love Apple, it's simple, easy to use and it's easy to learn also. My dad just got the iPhone tonight, his first smart phone, and he's already hooked on it, blazing through settings and such. He loves it.
So many people say, "Oh well Apple is just for dummies because it's simple."
Oh, really? Please tell me all the intricate things you do on your Droid.
I've honestly never had devices that work so seamlessly together. I don't even have to plug in my phone to update it anymore. Plug it into the wall and it will update through wi-fi while you sleep. Easy-peasy brah.
That's why I love Apple products.

But, is it worth lining up for? No. Is the iPhone superior? No. Is the iPhone worthy of some weird attitude in life (no, not you...but, others). No.
Compared to the Galaxy S3? Not even close. No wonder Apple wanted to sue.

I used the first iphone but got bored of it
Did everything to it, unlcok jailbreak blah blah every app back then but at some point you get bored of using it... well I do
I don't want easy navigate, I want to controll every detail like android, and F itunes lol
worst program ever to me.
Used the first iphone, then BB, then Samsung Vibrant, now HTC One S
Austin use HTC One S for couple days, you won't go back to iphone
Unless you are one of those freaks that has all Apple products haha
Edit: I can't compare Galaxy S3 with iphone. It's too big, neither HTC One X
But HTC One S (tmobile) is perfect size, much better than iphone but you drop it a lot lol, so thin

Well that's why we all have preferences and that's why people like Google and Apple make products for us.

Just watched a Consumer Report on the new iPhone 5. They liked it, but said, if you have an iPhone 4S, you might not need to upgrade.

If I did have a 4S I'd still consider upgrading. The 5's processor is amazing, it's wicked fast even with like 15 apps running in the background. Screen is bigger, camera is...sic to say the least and 4G LTE is insane. I was getting 13 mbps today...

Thats the problem.
Get from point A to point B using maps that work
Seriously though, here's some quotes from Steve Wozniak (co-founder of Apple):
"My primary phone is the iPhone. I love the beauty of it. But I wish it did all the things my Android does, I really do."
"I have a lower success rate with Siri than I do with the voice built into the Android, and that bothers me. I'll be saying, over and over again in my car, 'Call the Lark Creek Steak House,' and I can't get it done. Then I pick up my Android, say the same thing, and it's done. Plus I get navigation. Android is way ahead on that."
And my absolute favorite:
"The people I recommend the iPhone 4S for are the ones who are already in the Mac world, because it's so compatible, and people who are just scared of computers altogether and don't want to use them," said Wozniak. "The iPhone is the least frightening thing. For that kind of person who is scared of complexity, well, here's a phone that is simple to use and does what you need it to do."
Oh, and do I really need to mention widgets? How about the drop down notification bar that Apple "invented"? How about social media integration (which bravo to Apple for finally integrating it)?
