Morning.

I see the THANKS feature being taken off for this thread.

Here is some TL related talk....my TL is in the shop getting my annual PA raping - ie state inspection.

Oh....and I got pulled over for tinted windows on Tuesday. I felt like I was in my 20's again. No ticket, just an official warning and I do not have to remove it. The trooper was really cool about it. He basically said that he was bored.

I love it when cops admit to being bored while you're pulled over. Happened to me in LA a while back.

He also told me that my tint is not dark enough that I should ever be forced to remove it. I think if you do not act like a total douche to the cop pulling you over they tend to be more forgiving. It's annoying to be pulled over, but it's what you do after the cop comes up to your window that determines how you get treated.

^^^ back when I had mr2 I found that out the hard way lol, seemed like I was getting pulled over 2-4 times a week... Just bc it was a mr2. I probably got pulled over 15 times the first month I had it,never got a ticket bc I was never doing anything wrong, the cops just felt the need to check out the car...

Dude....When I had my CL I got pulled over twice by the same cop. The second time he just laughed, said...."Didn't I pull you over a couple months ago," and told me to drive on.

I never thought about selling my car. I had stated that I would drive it until the wheels come off. Well, it did in Sept of last year. So, I ended up in another 3G in the S configuration.

What are your guys opinion. I like messing with my headlight, I'm thinking of opening them up again to do a different color scheme. I'm either thinking color match the headlights (WDP) then painting the 4 shrouds NBP, or doing it the other way. NBP headlight, with WDP shrouds.
They will be being opened reguardless if I paint them or not because I just ordered Morimoto Mini H1 projectors for a quad retrofit, and to either replace my Orion V2 angels eyes or just completely remove them all together.

I wish they of would done that to me, I live in a town of 7000 people. I was the only one with a mr2, they knew who they were pulling over...

I'm in. I just got my 2006 NBP. About 2 weeks ago and I love my car. I can't stop looking at it and just wanting to drive all over the place in it. I cant wait till tax time. I plan on lowering it and probably putting a aspec kit on it. And tint. That just to start. This is a great forum for us TL lovers.
