Should be getting my TL today or Monday. Its a 2008, black with beige interior.
im in Canada. mileage is 77,000km (which is roughly 47,845 miles)
i used to own a 2004 TL which i loved, thats why im going back to one again.
there's still a couple of threads i want to read, but just wanted to know the overall issues the 2008's have that I might need to know about.
unfortunately i didnt have much time to do my research, but just figured, since its the last of its generation, it should have little to no issues.

Did your '04 have any issues!?

basically, its the same car with little to no issues.

minor issues like rattles but definitely not anything mechanical related

i looked at the maintenance history, the car looks very well maintained.
its too bad the rattling is still an issue, i remember that very clearly.
cant wait to get it!
sorry for my non-mechanic expertise, the previous owner told me that he changed both front ball joints, isnt it too ealry to do that with the mileage on the car? i know it depends on the use, but just wanted to know.

My 08 was build in February and I have 72K miles on it.
Absolutely no rattling issues.
The only issue I have is the "tighten fuel cap" CHECK ENGINE LIGHT.

You might want to check for the power steering recall. From what I've read on the forums, insurance is going to be huge in Canada.

thanks! i had an acura for the past year which was a csx, but it didnt cut it.
yeah insurance is not the best, but i found the lowest I can get.
i will post pics, the tints that the previous owner put on, is not 100% to my liking, they are not that dark at all, so I will see what I will do. Cant go too dark in the front anyway, because of our laws.
and yes, thanks for reminding me about the power steering issue. i heard about that.
