2008 Accord
Interesting... looks like a cross between the new camry body style and the BMW 5 series.

I'm sorry, but I am not feeling this Accord at all! I've owned an Accord in each of the last two gen, and I am glad that I've moved up to a TL. If I still had my '03 Accord V6 and was waiting to trade it in for this new Accord, I would've been VERY disappointed. I don't care what new features it has, I cannot drive around in a ugly ass car. I hope to GOD that the next TL looks nothing like this. Honda is about to see it's Accord sales sink. It doesn't even look japanese anymore, It kinda looks like a Saturn.

Saw some pics of this on Inside Line a while back...the front is nice...looks like Honda (for Hondas, at least) is going with the trapezoidal grille (ala the Ridgeline). Overall, the front and sides look good; the back of both looks like crap. With some work, one could clean up the backend of the couple to make it look ok. Both are much better than the current versions. As someone else said, I'm looking forward to see Acura's spin on the new design direction.

UGLY AS FUCK!!
And yeah...that's how I really feel!! Honda and Acura have different design teams now, so I am not concerned about the new TL looking like this monstrosity!!

My TL can do this, too!
Mediocre Acting
These models in the pix show groove-lines along the side very much like the 3G TL. But in these new Hyondas the handles are out of the line!
Don't care much for that.

Honda always seem to design the coupe better than the sedan. And the coupe doesn't even get quad exhaust like the concept. What a let down.

Judging by the overall look of it, I think the 4th gen TL will take a sleeker, longer look, a la 2nd gen TL, as opposed to the more "rounded" (I use that turn VERY losely) 3rd gen.
I sure hope so......*loves his 2nd Gen*

it's me, Alan Rickman.
You guys need to remember something...
For 90% of accord drivers this car is perfect. Personally I think it's nice - has a bit of class and conservative styling to it.
Honda and Toyota do the same thing; their big sellers are not very emotional when it comes to design - sure it's got some uniqueness, but in general they make it some what bland to appeal to the masses. When speaking of world wide sales, the number of people here who think it's ugly is insignificant. We are on this forum because we do more than just purchase a car and drive it - the TL is not a bland car. The next TL will most likely be a major departure from the Accord style - as the current one is - to appeal to the smaller market of people who want aggressive styling and luxury features.
So when you say "what the hell were you thinking Honda", you can be 90% sure they're thinking "we're going to make a shit load of money". If you don't like the Accord, you'll like the TL.
