well that depends on your commute; how long you're stopped in traffic, how long you idle, how long you're driving at a steady state...
no one has the same commute, so everyone's real world MPG will be a mixed bag.

the only way you can compare is if you use the Average MPH found along with the average MPG on the onboard computer..

on road trips, I can achieve 32MPG.
that's with an average speed of like 50mph

driving to and from work, I can range anywhere from 19mpg to 24mpg, depending on how much I mash the go pedal
