Sorry if already posted but I couldn't find it. Is it an easy swap? Thanks

the rear is a straight swap.
the front will need some accessories, ie: chrome Grille garnish (V), the chrome grille, fog light inserts, etc.

it's easy; just need to buy the front end accessories.

The garage I take my car to has a customer who's type s was just written off. Not too sure how it works but maybe he bought the car after that from insurance to part out?

The grille is different between the base and Type S?

The 07-08 base grill is the same just without the chrome inserts/emblem. The 04-06 grill doesn't have the chrome or honeycomb mesh, but the 04-06 grill doesn't fit 07-08 bumper anyways (slightly too small IIRC). The opposite is also true (07-08 grill incl.Type S is too big for the 04-06 bumper).

This statement is VERY SUPER WRONG as Type S insert has honeycomb look and base has fins that goes horizontally. Beside the bezel that goes around the fog light different too. Here is the side by side comparison pic.

Sorry, I was talking about the upper grill, not the fog grills. But yes you're right about the fogs.
