Anyone see that the parts are available for the '07 TL-S at Acura's eStore? I am interested in replacing the rear side markers on my '04 to the ones on the '07 because they are the smoked grey color (or from what I have seen) and also the tail lights.

Does anyone know if these parts are the same size as the other third gen TLs and what the part numbers are for the rear side markers?

 

They should be the same size and fitament. Since I'm sure no one has got these yet, if you can order them be the first I plan on getting them too, I searched the estore but it direct me to a local dealership. Did you find where you have the option to buy these online?

 

no, i just searched for the parts of an '07 TL-S and then under rear side markers. I didnt know which part numbers were the actual covers. I called my local dealer and they said they didnt have that information yet

 

Well you didn't say that. I'm sure no parts will be released until the car is released. So your gonna have to wait another month or so

 

if you go to the eStore and put in an 07 TL-S it shows you the parts and prices so it looks like you can buy them. I was just wondering what the actual part numbers are for those pieces because the pictures are small and you cant really tell. as for the parts really being available when the car is out , you are probably right on that.

arent those rears on your car just the front? thats why its amber when its on? they look the same.

id want them to be red though, i dont really see the amber color working in the back. it seems a bit counter-productive. red light in the back would make things look cleaner. amber would throw it off a bit no?

 

The smoked lenses in the rear are not from the fronts. If you look closer to your car the fronts shape are a tad bit different and they are smaller than the rears. These were from a test vehicle over a year or so ago and fit perfectly in the slots in the rear. As per the color, Yes they light up amber at night with 3 LED's. I kind of like them and others who have stopped me say the same thing. It does look nice at night.

 

Looks like you can order them, not sure if they will sell them to you, but I was just looking at the side mirrors and the description is mirror '07
