2006 vs 2007 Differences

I am going to be looking for an '06 shortly but I wonder if I should spend the extra money and buy an '07. What are the differences on the '07 vs the '06?

Is there a table somewhere that shows what changed on the 3G cars from '04 through present?

the 07 has a few changes. In the back, the tail lights have two whites slits. The front has fog lights. also, its a little louder for some reason. i used to get a ride in my friends 06 but now when im in my 07, there feels like there is more drone and is loud when i gun it...and i dont have aftermarket exhausts, yet. im sure there are more differences (minor).

There was a thread and csmenace listed pretty much *all* the model year changes. Off the top of his head, IIRC. Pretty impressive.

Try searching his posts with a couple of likely search words.

With the '07 you get TPMS, foglights in the lower front grill (instead of in the headlight housing), and updated Navi DVD, a different rear bumper (has a grill insert), sideview mirror blinkers, and different tail lights...off the top of my head. You also DON'T get the option of a manual transmission, unless you go Type-S.

What type of car are you looking for, a car that has the perfect blend of sportiness and luxury, or a more a car that is a bit more cushy, and has hidden attributes when called on?

If the first, the TL from 2006 is right for you, it has a slightly firmer suspension that the 07 base, has Carbon fiber trim and also is a bit sporty. As well, If you chose this option, take a look at the 2007 TL-S, it is sportier, as it has a better suspension, more power and many other attributes that will make you love to be in it.

If the second, the TL base is right for you, it has the softest suspension that the 3G TL has ever had, it has black-wood trim and is elegant. As well, it has the same motor that the TL from 2004-2006 has, and has the same amount of power.

I think the 04-06 wheels are alot sportier than the newer ones, too. I didn't know they softened the suspension for '07.

I discovered the hard way today that there subtle differences in '06 only. There are several parts that look exactly 2004-2008 but they will not cross. Here is my experience. I got hold of both headlight assemblies brand new after market, the part numbers for these stunning beauties are for 2005. Took it to my body man, then he showed me the mounts, bulbs, igniter, wires etc. were similar but not identical . I was very disconcerted with Acura, heart broken. I went way down the rabbit hole, many are aware, but no one knows why 2006 is in fact different. Anyway, once I was driving her again I forgave Acura and all was right with the world..
