2006 Tl or 2006 300C
I know this is an Acura TL forum so this is why i'm submitting this tread to get some feedback from current owners. My girl has a 2005 Tl and my good friend has 2005 300C so i'm being pulled in both directions. Just wanted you guys input.

300C is mad pimp. It is more of a cruiser than a TL so it depends on your tastes. But slap a bentley style chrome grill and some classy 20" chrome rims (maybe even bigger) and the 300C turns heads. I just don't like the fact that its a Chrysler and the depreciation on that thing is horrendous. Also, I would only get the HEMI one. Dont see the point of posing with the sluggish v6 model. Price might be out of your range though with a fully loaded HEMI model. Another problem with the 300C is the image a souped up one portrays about you. Seems like the drivers of them all wanna be rap stars or something. No offense to anyone.

i had a chance to drive one when i took the tl in for service and i must say that i felt the car was more a truck in terms of handling, and that the interior was butt ugly.. the steering wheel's "wood trim" was more like plastic with a brown coloring added ... gross..
the tl's interior is as good as it gets, and the handling is just faaaantastic.

The all-new 2005 Chrysler 300 celebrates the vibrant luxury sedans of yesteryear while introducing a new standard for high-performance, contemporary sedans. In fact, Edmunds.com found its unique combination of contemporary styling and powerful performance delivered by its available 340-horsepower 5.7-liter V8 HEMI® engine with industry-leading Multi-Displacement System (MDS) so inspiring that it has given the Chrysler 300 the "most significant New Vehicle for 2005" award-a most significant feat indeed.

The 300c can look great on the outside to me, it really does look nice.
No way I would get a car with a big V8 though, my wife had a lincoln
LS V8, small V8 and it got about 15 mpg average I think.
Sure, the performance is nice, but at quite a cost.
The reviews say the V6 is not bad though.
Hopefully chrysler has come a long way, back in 86 I had a chrysler
lazer (2.2 turbo) that ran great till 50,000 miles, then
(just like consumer reports said) EVERYTHING but the exhaust
system crapped out!
The lazer beat the passat for reliability though!

300s are nice. But, give them another 6-9 months when the styling has lots its appeal among most people. It's a good departure, style-wise, from what's presently out there. But, I think it's one of those designs people are going to have second thoughts about in a little while.

Trade often?
If you like get a new ride every few years then the 300C isn't the car to get.
Chrysler depreciation rates have always been high and aren't improving.
Their sales to retail customers tanked in October but they hid the fact by flooding the fleet sales market with vehicles. When those fleet units hit the used market, in a couple of years, the resale values will really go over the cliff.
