2006 - Side Turn Signal?
Hello, I just purchased a 2006 TL and noticed the side markers don't blink when I use my turnsignals. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this a problem with my vehicle?
My buddy has an 2005 TL and the side markers blink when the turn signals are on.

Doesnt the TSX have mirrors with blinkers built in? Note, your TL does not.....so what was blinking exactly??? Does the TSX also have repeaters? Dont own wone so dont know....

Acura's website indicates that "LED directional signals are built into the TL's side mirrors." This must be new for 06 (or a mid-year change). Can anyone with an 06 confirm this and describe how the LEDs work (or better yet, post pics?)

my friend has 06 and I didn't see anything like that on his.

You might not see it unless the directional signal is actually on. If the picture of the side view mirror on Acura's website is any indication, the LEDs are built into (or behind) the mirror itself, unlike the TSX, which has the light built into the mirror housing (I believe).

Not sure what picture your talking about from acura.com but my '06 don't have anything like that.

Unfortunately, the side markers don't blink. If you search in the forums there are posts on how to modify your wiring so that they will blink with your turn signals. Maybe your friend can help you.

Hey, the 1st 3000 2004 TL's produced had Turn Signal Mirrors on the window sticker by mistake too. I wonder if this all has to do with a supplier.

Its a mistake on the website. I have an 06 and others with an 06 has proven this wrong already so 06 TLs DO NOT have LED directional signals on the side mirrors.

Its interesting that they have made the same mistake on the 06...as they did on the 04. I remember the passionate discussions regarding this mistake back in 04.

Is it possible there was a mid-year change? When the 06 was first introduced, I do not believe the website indicated there was side mirror turn signals. The website was recently redesigned, and that is when this was added.
