2005 Changes

Here is food for Fodder. I don't have any connections or priveledged info, I'm just hopin' they'll do the following:

2005 Acura TL

1. Change to better OEM tires – Michelins or even Falkens (though not a likely brand that corporate would choose). Fix the memory seat issue, of course. Get rid of vibrations, harmonics or whatever else and the rattles. :clown:
2. Auxilary in and selection for another device in the stereo with a minijack. i.e. an ipod
3. Change the trim in parchment and camel to fewer silver pieces and more wood (especially the long silver pieces on the center stack/console. It can stay the same for ebony or quartz.
4. Interated key and fob or blade style.
5. Large outside temp and compass in nav
6. Rear fold down seats
7. A-spec from factory for half the price
8. MP3 play with ID
9. Dual visors for when the sun is just in the corner over the a-pillars
10. Auto headlight leveling and dynamic headlight control (or whatever BMW calls the headlight moving 15 degree when you turn).
11. Tighter steering feel

2006 Acura Changes (ok so they’re pipe dreams)

1. Key fob closes windows and sunroof
2. AWD
3. Hybrid
4. Integrated rear and side sun shades
5. Run flat Tires with monitor system
6. OnStar
7. Change in Front grille and Fascia to look more aggressive, such as the recent concept.
8. Panoramic sun roof as in the concept.
9. Back up Camera displayed in the NAVI.
10. Heated Steering Wheel
11. Ventilated front and rear seats with better quality leather.
12. DVD entertainment integrated in rear headrests with rear control(within NAV display when parked).

They're just ideas! Relax. :smackhead :grenade:

No no no.. that will only lower the value of our 04 models. No changes.. I say make the 05 and 06 WORSE! 240 hp, recycled flatspotting tires, built in vibrations, inaccurate nav...

rattles and vibrations

My TL has an annoying rattle noise at certain speeds in the rear left passenger door.

Also, when going over small bumps in the road, such as a road with rain grooves, there is an annoying rattle from somewhere in the dash.

Has anyone experienced this? Is this something the dealership can fix?

Yes, I'm experiencing the exact same thing...took it in to the dealer, they replaced the controls on the steering wheel and no such luck I'm taking it in again next week sometime...it's weird, the rattle in the dash (steering column) went away with the cold weather, but now I'm having left door panel rattle and a sunroof rattle now, not to mention the rattle from the rear deck when the bass hits even ever so slightly...it should be fixed under your warranty...
