Depends a lot on the price. At 31k it sounds like a good value, at 33k or above a lot of other cars start to look better, i.e. G35 awd, S60-turbo with awd etc.. Once you get to a certain price point it's natural to start thinking "what's a couple thousand more going to matter". Honda better be careful with this one.

I've test driven a ES330...very nice car for 33.5K...probably could get for 33k. I can't imagine that I wouldn't pay at least 1.5k more for the lexus...but in all fairness, I haven't test driven a 2004TL.

I think you guys hit it the nail on the head. If its over priced by even 1k it could be trouble. There is a lot of top notch competition in this price range. The ES330 is $1500 cheaper than last years ES300.
