The current TL truck "usable" space is barely enough, the new TL will have 2 cubic feet less space. Other than that, the CAR IS AWESOME!!!! Interior is NICE!!! ENGINE bay is NICE (Hope they made room for mods).

You joking me? The current TL's Trunk is so useful, The new one got a little smaller, so it wont be that big of a difference..

The current one was above average.

Easy to say, owning an Avalon.

I just went on a trip with two 22" carry-on bags, a back pack and a basketball, and the trunk in my 03 TLS-Navi was pretty well full!

 

IF u take a look at the avalon or camry trunk they are GIGANTIC compared to the TL. The TL hinges will always get in the way when i put luggage in. The slant in the back doesn't make the extra room useful. It's pretty big, but when u start putting stuff into it, you'll find that you have pocket of unusable space.

I would pic my sister up from the Airport frequently. She always have 3 suitcases. only 2 fit in the trunk, the third has to go in the back seat. IF the trunk hinges and the huge wheel well didn't block off most of the space it would probably fit.

 

Well I own a 1998 Avalon and the TRUNK is HUGE!

And I remember on the forums, people were mentioning HOW BIG the TL Trunk was, so I thought the new one couldn't be BAD.. I will look for the thread I saw people saying the trunk was BIG!

 

Does anyone know if the 2004 trunk will uses hinges or trunk shocks? Hinges really eat up space.
