I have raced my friend in his 2002 tl-s a couple of time now and every race comes out either dead even or I take him by half a car lenght or less. Who has the faster car ????? By the way they are both automatics.

 

 

They are just about dead even. All depends on the driver and launch quality.

 

A simple way to solve this....you drive his car and he will drive yours. If you win again your just a better driver, if he wins then your car is faster

Since when are TL's supposed to be fast. I hope you didnt spend 30k+ for a race car if so your going to be upset. Dont get me wrong the car is fun to drive and is relatively quick. "ITS NOT FAST........"

 

uhhhh, he's comparing a TL to a TL Type S not a Ferrari Enzo, bro. I dont see what the big deal is; especially when he just trying to compare the current gen TL with the prev gen. I cant think of any more relevant comparison.

 

no problem. I wasnt trying to beat anybody down its not about that. I just notice alot of people getting pissed that there car loses in a race to something else. I may have misunderstood his post but there are lot of people who think cause it has 270hp that is should be fast.
