2004 Stand Alone Fog Switch?
I searched around the DRL DIY in the 3g garage.
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...Running+Lights
But this is not what i am looking for. Im wondering if anyone knows of a way...or a product that will let me turn on my fog lights only.
Gonna be going back to stock lights with HOEN yellow fogs, and want to be able to run my fogs alone without my HIDs on.
Thanks in advance

I bought a fog light switch for a honda accord that fits in the blank spot in the dash next to VSA Button. But I didnt get the wiring harness, and I havent hooked it up yet.. You would still have to hack up some kind of circuit to make it work, but it is atleast a clean look.

clip the + wire to your fogs and T-tap the parking light + wire. Take the tapped wire and butt-connect it to the cut + to the fog light.
Now the fog light will come on when parking lights are on.
You can also install a switch but you'd have to run the wires into the cock pit. The switch acts like an interrupter and cuts the signal to the fog lights. A two-prong switch should work fine. (3 if its lighted).
Let me know if that helps.
I don't know about anyone else but if I could run the fogs completely on their own that would be ideal. I don't want to burn out some random bulb in my car because I was running more lights than I need. If the only way to do it was to wire the fogs to the parking lights I wouldnt do it. I would just run the parking lights and say forget it.

This has been kicked around off and on for a number of years...
from what I remember from some smart guys... it can NOT be done (lets say easily)..
the wiring is in the steering column etc. and as such it takes a lot of work.. and nobody was willing to attempt it as there was no sure way to know it would work IIRC..

Thanks for the info guys. I figured it wasnt going to be as easy as it "should be" or should i say "as i hoped it would be".
Just the idea of having yellow fogs getting washed out by the HID's rubs me the wrong way.
Maybe a set of Accord fogs is in order so i can have dedicated fogs.
Thanks again everyone.
