1 Week with my new TL

We just got our silver AT Navi a week ago and are very happy. Makes an interesting sister car to our WRX Sports Wagon (which is still a thrill to drive). We looked at quite a few cars, but felt the TL provided an excelent blend of space, features, sportiness, and reliability. We considered the Lexus ES (reminded me way too much of the Camry we were replacing), the Accord (a close second, but the extra 5-6K got us a little refinment), and the Volvo S60 (when will Volvo make a car that doesn't make me feel 50). We looked a little at the used BMWs and Audis, but reliability concerns really worried us (last car went 215K).

I enjoy reading all the boards here, and have already learned a few features of my car that I didn't know existed.

Into my second weekend

We still love the car, and have found a few new things (mostly from this forum). The forward/back on the headrest and the cargo net under my cargo tray (forgot about that). Also hitting the map button twice to get a differnt nav view. The car is just tremendous.

WRX wagon and a TL. Nice thats what my garage would look like if my WRX wagon wasnt totaled. Ive been driving the TL for about 3 days now and its almost the opposite of my slightly modded WRX...in a good way. TL is a great car, a far better daily driver but i still miss my WRX.

How ironic, my wife's WRX sports wagon just got rear-ended and looks like trash now. Today was my first day for 5 people in the car. The guys in the back (who are not small) all said it was a very comfortable ride.

The new 2004.5/2005 Volvo S40's are very sharp-looking. If they weren't underpowered and overpriced I would buy one. The new 2005 S60 are still somewhat 'stuffy' looking though.

Welcome to the club, jdrasin! Sorry to hear about the WRX, though, that's a great car to drive, even in wagon form.
