Supercomputers,

As expected, we lost alot of people from the original Black and Silver lists to the new colors.

I do not know how firm your order is with your supplier, but perhaps you can readjust the quantities a little.

I would suggest increasing the White and Dark Grey orders by at least 5 each, and reducing the Black and Silver by those amounts.

As it stands, White is sold out, and Dark Grey has only 1 left! (order fast if you want one! )

haha, well this sux for me i wasn't monitoring my checking account and i went under cuz i forgot to transfer some money over from my savings....o well now i know to always keep extra money in the checking....the overdraft cost me like $45.....so that means i payd $135 for the 1:18 model cuz the $90 is what got me under haahah

You don't have overdraft protection?

My credit union has something that is pretty cool. It is called "Courtesy Pay".

Basically what it is, is if you overdraw your checking account, it will automatically transfer funds from your savings account to your checking account so your check doesn't bounce. This will prevent the bounced check fee from both your bank, and from the vendor that you purchase from.

My credit union does not charge me anything for this service. The only limit is that I can only do 6 transfers a month. Therefore, I still like to make sure I have funds in my checking account, and use this feature as a buffer, just in case I forget.

Typical overdraft protection is basically a loan. You have to apply for credit from your bank, and anything that goes into the negative, you are borrowing against that credit, which you have to repay or pay finance charges (like a credit card).

If you don't have a credit union, you should get one! I do all my banking through credit unions!

haha, yea i hear you and they have offered me the overdraft but stupid wells fargo charges for it and i said i don't need it but i've gone under quite a few times now for not paying attention

anyways i have made my new year's resolution to be more careful with that haha....look i'm 19 and i really don't know what all this stuff is, like credit union, and neather do i really care.....i don't like banks, paperwork, etc.. mabe that's why i did so bad in school, but it's ok it's all for a reason i guess.

Guys we still have to get more of our silver and Black guys on board The numbers are what they are at this point and cant be changed. I cant fund this with 41 cars still unsold. 20 or so I dont mind but not 40+ So spread the word and lets get the silver and black filled up. I already have a deposit on the order. Wait a minute. I thought I sent my money because we were actually ordering the cars. We are still waiting for people to get onboard? Then why a new list? I thought this was the "now we have enough people and we are taking orders list"! I need Supercomputers or somebody to fill me in. I'm confused. And no, don't confuse "being confused" with ranting so no need to get mad at a brother. Just trying to understand why I just paid if it wasn't to actually get a car shipped to me now. ^-- Yes the cars are going to actually be ordered. This list is to show the ones that have made their payment for the order to take place. There are still quite a few people on the original list that have not made their payment. As this order is a group buy, supercomputers would be "leaving them out in the cold" (i.e. they wouldn't get their car) if he we to just submit the order now. Beside supercomputers mentioned that he put a deposit down on the order, which probably means that a certain quanitity of each color was reserved.

Also keep in mind that supercomputers is not making any real money from this. He's doing this out of willingness to help. We can't expect him to fork over more of his own money to pay for all the models that were reserved. If you want to get your car sooner, then start PMing the people from the original list who haven't paid yet.

Oh yeah, and the cars are being order from overseas, shipped to supercomputers and then he is shipping them individually to us. This is one reason why it is so important to get as many people in the order that reserved them.

Got some NEW rims for my TL (diecast)! This time it is from a "20 TIS" Cadillac CTS diecast. Might be a liiiiitle too small, as its from a 1/24 scale, but hopefully it comes out alright...

As expected, the original rims that I bought (1/18 GMC Denali) was waaaay too big...

A fellow member (thanks Royce!) who had bought the diecast from eBay, was nice enough to send me some pics with measurements of the wheels. I will post them for anyone else who is thinking of modifying their diecast!

Tire diameter seems to be about 1 3/8" and the wheel well width is between 1 5/16" to 1 3/4" (depending on where you measure).

I also bought some red tail light repair tape (automotive department) to see if I want to make the tail lights red for my diecast to match my car.

Hurry up people and put in your orders!

(can you tell I reeeeaaaally want this diecast?)

^^^^diecast model looks awesome, hope all are as perfect as this one cuz from some of the pics...i've seen some with defects like the grille is messed up, the doors don't shut right, the gaps are too big, the hood, etc...but this 1 looks awesome.

I though 100 was the minimum order, and a minimum of 50 paid was the minimum for the order to be placed, shipped, and sent to us.

If there are over 45 paid, where does the "41 cars still unsold" come from?
I think we are at 47 or something. That only leaves 3 that have not paid.

Maybe the colors should have been left at silver and black. It looks like some people jumped ship to the other colors.

When the list started, there was only silver or black. I actually would like the Carbon Bronze pearl, but I signed up for Silver since it was going to one of my color choices on my 07. Anyway, when the payment list came out, I paid for the silver that I ordered, and also paid for a gray (anthricite) so I could have a color closer to the color that I like instead of leaving an unpaid spot in silver.

I dont even had a TL yet, and now I am getting 2 "expensive" models. Oh well....Its only money. I will just need to go out to the yard and pick some more off my money tree.

Thanks for the effort "Supercomputers", but how did you come up with the 40 un paid cars?
