The 2007 TL Type-S is able to run DRLs without turning on the HIDs.. and I know this isn't possible on the 04-06 models (at least without doing the DRL mod). If someone were to purchase the 07 Type S headlights and install them on their 04-06 model, will the foglights be able to turn on without the HIDs being turned on? Or are the 07 Type S models installed with DRLs that enable them to do that?

 

nope the DRLs have things already modified from the factory most likely a relay a light sensor and some pins popped out and popped in to other places on the fuse panels. Im sure if u do it with an electrical schematic and service manual u may be able to do it urself but if u drop it off at acura to do it hope u have lots of$$$

 

headlight/foglight housings have nothing to do with the wiring on the car, all they do is hold the bulbs in place
