07 TL Type S - Clutch Slave Cylinder
07 TL Type S - Clutch Slave Cylinder
I'm trying to find a Clutch Slave Cylinder with the check valve delete for my 07 TL Type S. I am also upgrading my Master Cylinder to K Tuned which comes with its own line, don't know if its a different fitting than stock. If anyone can help me find a Slave Cylinder with the check valve delete that would be great. I know I can get a stock one and open it up then take out the check valve, but I'm just trying to do a straight bolt on swap.
Thanks!

I don't think you can buy them that way. So unless you know of one for sales you have to do it yourself. I am going to sell my old one but it still has the valve in it.
That being said it's 100% worth it. It's a different car with the valve delete.

Most people buy a new slave cylinder and remove the check valve from the new one, since it won't be all rusted and hard to move. I am very very curious about finding a slave made for another car and seeing if it works for the TL... sorta how people use the s2000 master cylinder in a civic or Integra by just using a spacer.
You guys know of any good brands for the slave cylinder? I have seen posts about the LuK Slave Cylinder but it seems like a cheap part? I just ordered the K Tuned CMC. I just need a new slave and I should be good to go for install.
Definitely would go OEM and use the dremel method to get the ring out. In my opinion that's way easier than trying to do it with picks. Just make sure you don't lose the little ring

I can't remember where I read it on AZ, but here's the same idea from the S2K forums.

The S2K clutch slave cylinder looks very similar to the TL's. Just be careful where you cut it and not to cut too deep. Once you get the snap ring out (be careful because it can fly, I would wear safety glasses) just pull the cap out with needle nose pliers and the valve and spring will come right out.
