07 TL-S exhaust on 06

will the TL-S exhaust fit on an 06? I kinda like the way the exhaust looks. Im not looking for any gains, just pure aesthetics. anyone here have an idea how much it costs?

thanks.

Check out this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/ramblings-12/craziest-video-youll-ever-see-144392/

They're working on a similar look.

thanks.

i just got back from Tustin Acura and checked out the TL-S. I looked at a regular TL and the stock bumper wont work unless you have a TL-S bumper. I looked up the price and for the exhaust alone its about $800-something.

needless to say, im scrapping that idea lol.

Well, what if we just bought the mufflers? Then all we need to do is get the rear bumper cover and its done.

thats what I thought. but the dealer said you pay for the whole exhaust (which sucks). the rear TL-S bumper was somewhere around 300+ to buy. and to install was another 100. i could care less about the install, but the fact that you can only buy the entire exhaust sucks.

oh well. back to the drawing board.

I kinda find that hard to believe you need to buy the whole exhaust. I will email Tim to find out a definite on this at hondaacuraworld.com

If you ever look at the exhaust on the TL, the right muffler and the whole exhaust system including the 3rd muffler and the resonator is one piece. There is no way Acura would sell you just the muffler and expect you to weld it on yourself.

So if you want to change the muffler, you would have to change the whole catback exhaust system.

thats what i saw too when i looked under the cars. it sucks. i dont want to spend that much on an exhaust that wont give me any gains (which i dont need anyway). all im after is the look. if i wanted to make power i would have stayed w/ the Evo.

oh well, like i said, back to the drawing board.
