Hey guys about two weeks ago i ended up getting the Comptech S/C installed on my 2005 TL with about 17K miles on it. After driving the car for about couples days the check engine light came on. When i took it back to the dealer they ordered new ACM and that made the check engine light go off. After putting about 1200 miles after the S/C i ended up getting the ECU reflashed today and after driving the car about 150 miles the Check engine light came on again TODAY.
Does anyone know wut might be the problem the second time? And if so who should i take the car back to, because Acura of Glendale were the ones who actually got to install the S/C for me.

 

Where did you get your ECU reflashed? How much was it?

 

You gotta get that CEL checked and the problem diagnosed. Let us know what the code(s) are when you find out. Either take it to the dealer or go to Autozone which will scan the CEL for free unfortunately you only get a vague discription and the code; the diagnosis may be easier for a shop or the dealer to do.

 

Are you referring to the Hondata reflash?

I also have the supercharger in my TL and currently have a CEL...its showing theres a small leak in the system....not sure where though.

Do you have a 6MT or 5AT? Is the reflash avaliable to the public?

 

how long was the turn around for the reflash? what did they do to the ecu?

 

Most ECU's are flashed through the data port (ALDL connector).

Well first and foremost find out what the CEL is. If Acura installed the kit they should do that for you and figure out what the problem is.

Mine is 171 i think - bank 1 running too rich. taking it in next week.

 

I dont know what they did but its a little faster it took 2hr
