I have an 08 TL and i was thinking of putting black electric tape to cover the silver strips. i dont want to do anything permanent just yet. does anyone think they look ugly? I think they look nice in every TL except WDP. Like NBP is perfect!

and does anyone feel like the TL looks ugly far away? like 30 ft. like it looks ugly when im in a parking lot walking towards the car and when i get close like 10 ft. it looks good.

Leave the chrome strip on the grilles.

 

Of course the 2nd pic doesn't have fogs. I think it looks good either way. Just a matter of opinion.

why not just tape over the strips with electrical tape like you said... step back and take a look and if YOU like it, go through with it... if you don't peel the tape off and go back to the original look...

i would keep the chrome tho...

I dont think my car looks ugly from any distance, every time i look at it i love it!

Chrome looks goods on WDP. It also makes the car looks updated.
