Will the 07-08 headlights fit on 04-06 models? I want to get those headlights for my 04 because i want to add angel eyes to where the fogs are on the 04-06's

 

As far as I know, they will as long as you get new ballasts for the HID's that are on the 2007 model as they are slimmer.

 

if you need some of the smaller ballasts hit me up. ill be sellin mine in about a week (goin down to 04-05 blacked out housings).

 

Wont the optics for the brights in 07-08 be wrong pattern to be used as the fogs in 04-06 and will the 04-06 fog bulb fit in the 07-08 drl's? I hope that wasn't confusing for you two...lol.

 

07-08 Have high beams where 04-06 have 'fogs'.
07-08 = 9005
04-06 = 9006

 

Doesnt the grill or something need to be modded or is that type S only?

Im doing this now. What did you run in the DRL? Cuz i see if we use certain types of bulbs, they will melt.

 

Not true. 04-08 all use the same projectors. Bi-xenon. They only difference is the 04-06 have integrated fog lights, whereas the 07-08 have DRL's. If you're looking to get Type-S headlights I know the turn signal uses a differenct bulb.

 

Yeah. You will just need different ballasts. 07-08 are DRL and have a bezel like the 04-06 HID projector has a bezel.

 

Also make sure you use a low wattage or LED bulbs where the DRL's are in the 07 headlights or you will melt the housing. The turn-signal bulbs are slightly differnt as well, but an easy mod to install... Good luck with the install.
