Has anyone with an 07-08 TL(S) swapped out the pressure switches(specifically the second 3rd pressure switch in the rear) and if so how difficult is it to get to the rear one?

Let us know what you find because I have a type-s and plan on doing the switches closer to summer with a 3x3 of Redline Racing. I did a 3x3 with the D4 last summer and that was a noticeable improvement.

You have to dig through for the 2007-08 stuff. The newer TL use a RL type transmission so some things are different. Luckily the RL has been more reliabile.
2 switches on top #13, 1 on the bottom #14

yes i realize the number and locations as far as that picture is concerned but was wondering if anyone has actually done it and what is requred to get to the rear switch.

This is from the 08 TL service manual:




Note, according to the s/m the upper rear sensor is refered to the 2nd Clutch sensor, not the "second" 3rd clutch sensor as most people here seemed to believe.

There are, of course, corresponding procedures in the 08 TL s/m for the other two AT fluid pressure sensors (i.e. 3rd Clutch and 4th Clutch) as well. But those seem to be well documented in threads elsewhere here.

so are these procedures for the top one or the one in the rear? looks like its for the one on top of the tranny not the rear one.
