06 a-spec tl vs. 07 type-s tl?

I think I actually like the look better of the 06 aspec tl. Especialy the rims and body kit. I think the 07 tl-s should have gone with 18 inch wheels. I wonder how much more the new tl-s will cost. What car would yall rather have? 06 aspec tl or 07 tl type s? But I do like the 290 hp engine for the 07 year but I like the looks of the 06 aspec better I think

Then, go for 06 TL, get a-spec from , get supercharger... you will have your looks and more power than 07 tl-s

The 07 TL-S will be priced at $39000. I would go with 07, cause I usually go with aftermarket wheels anyway. You get more power, better interior, better seats, rearview camera among other things. The only thing is absence of the underbody kit, but I hope Acura will come up with one.

39000 is rediculious.......Ina year I will be able to get an 06 a-spec for 8-9k less than that

I personally don't really care for the dash on the 07 Type S, I do love the seats though. The 06 A-specs look much better IMO, and currently, with money, more potential power can be had with the 3.2 than the 3.5. I doubt comptech is going to be making a S/C for the 3.5, at least this generation.

Ya, I think Ide rather spend the 10k less and get a 06 aspec. I know the seats are cooler in the new type-s and it has more power but just get a intake and headers and have just as much power as the new type-s. Plus it looks better with the 18's and body kit

GREAT IDEA, best of both worlds. I am yet to think of that solution, but you are 100% correct.

the tailights, exhaust and new bumpers are sweet, but right now your best dollar spent will be on an 06 leftover, or 07 g35.

Why would anyone want to get the A-spec? just get a regular '06 TL.. and get the body kit, suspension and rims aftermarket.. You'll save at least a grand doing the work yourself...

I'm suprised the Type-S only has 17" wheels. That seems pretty ghet to me, they should give your 18's or 19's imo.

I like the look of the A-spec over the Type-S myself.

Exclamation

This is my dilemma as well. I can't decide whether to go with an '06 with A-Spec kit, or wait for the '07 to come out. The '07 will give me the Real-Time traffic, but the price difference is 39K for the '07 v. 31,800 for the '06 plus 4100 for the A-Spec kit installed.

Do you work for infiniti? You're always hyping up the g35. Granted it's a great car and has things that the TL lacks (rear wheel drive being the main thing), but a lot of us on the Acurazine actually love our cars as much as you love the g35.

I love the 06 because it's a little meaner looking with the A-spec.
What would really be nice is an 06 TL A-spec with with 07 type-s additions like tailights, smoked side markers, engine, seats, turn signal mirrors but with current 06 style mirrors (not those bulky 07s).

$4100? They wanted 6k when I bought my TL.

I did it on my own and saved a lot of money. Install is easy too.
