Guys,
I am thiking of buying a used 05 Automatic TL. I know about Gen. 2 and early 2004 Tranny problems and I thought the 05 TL had the revised tranny without any problems but as i read the threads people with 05 TL seem to have the same tranny problems. Is this true? Can anyone shed some light on whats going on?

 

ive heard that the tranny issue was fixed for the 05+ models, but hey, i guess nothing (trannys included) is perfect. maybe check the carfax report?

 

05 TL slushbox w/ 35k miles and no tranny issues here.
