Hi everyone, I am new here. I have been doing lots of reading on this forum but this my first post. I live in Seattle, WA and the best quote I got was 37,000 out the door for a 05 TL with Nav/protection pakage. Have anyone from this forum bought a TL from the Seattle are with a better price

Thanks in advance

Daverx......Don't expect much below MSRP. I tried several in Seattle and one in Fife before going to Portland for my purchase last Sept. You just have to keep shopping around. Prices are much better on the east coast for the buyer. Good luck.

I am looking at an 05 AT/black on black/with Nav. But I can live without the Nav if I can get a good price on it. The quote for 34,560 is OTD correct??

Thanks

I picked up my redondo red 05 with navi at Acura of Seattle in southcenter in November. $33,800 before tax and license. This included the protection package and first oil change as well. Overall a good experience there. Hope this helps.

I know you are looking at the seattle market, but you are probably better off giving us price without taxes/title/other fees...

In Baltimore, I got my '05 TL with navigation for $33,200 including destination charge but excluding tax, title, tag fees. That's a little more than $800 over invoice, which struck me as an "easily good enough" price. It helped that it was December 28th, i.e., end of month, end of year. I also had to get one off the lot, but they had a color/interior combination that I was happy with (ABP, camel). (It was new, BTW, with 4 miles--not a demo.)

I'm not sure why East Coast prices would be a lot better than West Coast. Anyway, good luck finding a good price in Seattle.

Rick

Hi, New to the site have not purchased my TL yet. Waiting to move into new home in less than 3 weeks but I have been looking. I just got a note from a local dealer and the prices are getting good 2004 TL $29,950 2005 TL 30,950 w/Nav 33,360 these are all new cars. I hope then still hold in March. I sold my 2004 G35 coupe last year on Ebay I was disapointed in the car and the dealer.

Thanks you very much for the info. Can you tell me the name of the sale person that you work with.

vikrampatel

37,000 OTD would equal to 34,000 before tax and all the other fees.

Rick F.

33,200 is a great price. Getting that price here in the Northwest if almost impossible.

34k isnt that bad.... for that region at least.... you can always try my strategy... call and tlel them u want the a-spec.... say u want the car for 33,000, and the aspec for 5500.... then when you get there - say forget the aspec u just want the car...

i did that...although that was NOT my intention - but the dealer tried to change some of the terms of my verbal agremeent... so i said forget the aspec just the car, so i got it for 32873

is that unethical? uhh i guess some people would claim it is.... but i dont know

Daverx My salesman's name was Dwan Smith. He was pretty upfront and didn't play the game to hard with me. I think there was more room to deal but because I bought mid month in November that was the best they would do for me. I got the only Redondo Red with Ebony and navi that they had on the lot too. I live in Lynnwood and went to Lynnwood acura but they had the 2nd sticker thing goin on and the car started out and damn near 37K before and taxes and licensing so I didn't even try to deal with them. Good luck and if you have anymore questions feel free to ask. I do have all the consumer reports pricing on the car too if you need that such as invoice, holdback, etc etc.

Thanks again for the info, really appreciated. I think I will get on the phone to make an appointment with him. I have been doing lots of calling, and no one could come close to the price you got in Dec. If you don't mine me asking, did you get a good rate from them too??

Daverx I called around for financing and the best rate was through the Boeing Credit Union. Got a rate of 4.24% (in november) Costs five bucks to join the CU and anyone in Washington state can join it. Just got preapproved before I went car shopping and then after agreeing on the price the dealer just pulled up my CU info and finished up the deal right there. They are hooked up with Boeing's CU. I would see what acura can do rate wise again also as they may be running a better rate right now. I have heard of 3.99% through Honda finance.

That's partly true at least. There's also the miles to get it on/off the trucks. Ours came with about 7 miles on it. We're also in the Seattle/Tacoma area. Ended up buying ours in Eugene for $34.2k including decklid spoiler before t&l. Did all the dealing over email. Locally, the Bellevue shop came closest. They also are part of the Costco plan and at the time (October) were quoting $35.5 (or thereabouts) for the same car under that plan. Seemed like nice folks. Fife is closest to me but they were extremely arrogant there.

Fife is also the closest for me too, but after my awful experience with their sales folks I am reluctant to go there for service. Where if anywhere, have you gone for service?
