My brother has a 99 integra and im thinking of buying a used 04 Tl, he brags all the time about how his integra would "blow the Tl out of the water". Who do you think would win in a race his integra or my hope to be bought soon Tl

 

Come on now. 270 hp TL versus a possibly 140 to 170 hp Integra. You tell me. What all's done to the Integra?

 

Yes, it all depends...is it a Type S teg....is it turbo charged...mods. If its modified right...yep...he will walk all over you.

 

if he's not turbo charged, then i don't think he has a chance of beating a a 3G TL. it's type R by the way

 

yea the Integra Type-R's are fast..i think faster than the 02-04 RSX-S..so yea..that's around our level. (02-03 Type S & 04 TL AT). If it isn't a Type-R, then it has to have some serious mods to beat or even hang w/ us. I always walk modified ones w/ my 02 TL Type-S..they probably only had the basics if anything.

 

Type R are fast.. I got spank my one (me no NOS) its was pretty embarrassing.. Getting beat by this type R is what made me decide to go with NOS..

 

You could've gotten a SC haha..that would've ended a lot of your racing problems lol.

 

heheheheh.. Ill just stick to NOS. i think its better for right now safer for my tranny since i dont have to use it all the time

 

I personally know plenty of non-Type R's / non-turbo tegs that will kill a stock E46 M3. With the amount of aftermarket support and interchangable parts, the sky's the limit at a cheap cost.

The B18 motors are one of the finest tuner motors that Honda has designed.

 

I have both, and stock for stock, the TL will win everytime! ...roll dig, 5AT, GS-R, doesn't matter. Only case senerio I could see a teg win stock for stock would be using a type-r vs. a 5AT from a roll.

 

My friend has a GS-R with some mods. He has I/H/E and cams on a 5 speed. When I was stock I raced him in my 03 TL (once again STOCK) and we were a bumper apart. First time I got him by a little bit. 2nd He got me by about half a car. 3rd Time he I got him by the front end of the car. That was me stock in a TL-P

 

I should have specified in my last post that I was refering to a 3rd genTL. But if an 03 can play too, that is awesome!
