04 TL demo w/nav
04 TL demo w/nav
Went to the dealer the other day he has a silver auto w/nav. He was trying to tell me how much of a deal I could get cause it has 900 miles. He told me the best he could do was 33,275. What a joke not to mention that the cars vin is 001215. I told him with such a low vin and some of the problems i read about with the low vins hed have to do better. then he tells me there are no problems with the low vin #'s and everything I have read was wrong. What a moron. Im still looking though.
I think Low VIN 04TL has no problem, but you're right he should bargain more with that car since it was probably produced in September.
Low VIN 04TL just needs to refresh a few TSBs or update, many of low VINs seem trouble-free so far.

there's an article somewhere on http://www.carbuyingtips.com about buying demos. In word - don't. I think the advised discount rate is something like $3 per mile.

Should be more like $30 per mile that way I test drive cars. Never, ever, ever buy a demo. They are there just to be beaten up by customers like me who like to hear the salesmen squeal.
My low-VIN car is in excellent shape. That said, the salesman is clearly ripping you off. There's another thread in which a guy got his 5AT/navi for a bit over 32k, NEW. If he can't work with you, walk.
