'04 TL Accessories

I just put down my deposit today! And they are receiving it this Friday! I've got my VIN number too. But they can't sell it and I can't take delivery until 10/7. Agreement with dealer is for MSRP, plus I asked for accessories at a discount since they won't budge on sticker. They are going to give them to me at "near cost" if not at cost. They still don't have prices though, but it works out to about 40% discount based on '03 accessories. I've attached pics of the TL accessories from the new brochure (sorry if it was previously posted).

You think the gray split-spoke 18" rims will go well with the Abyss Blue?

Can't wait for the test drive!

So The question remains, is that car in the pic above, the A-Spec?

I have never seen that picture before, I dont remember seeing it on the brochure

Oh, for those of you in SF Bay Area, Ride & Drive is this Thursday and Friday if you want to sneek in. I won't be able to make it, but they are meeting at the SF Nikko Hotel, then head off to Candlestick Park parking lot where the test track is set up. Good luck!

The pic is not of an A-Spec. It is from the new 2004 Acura accessories brochure. The TL pictured just has all the accessories installed on it for display (18" rims, front/side/rear skirts, door moldings, and spoiler). Actually, I asked the dealer about the A-Spec and they were clueless.

If you want a good place to host your pics, go to imagestation.com

than send yourself a invite to your album and post the link for the invite..

If you send the straight link to the album than people will need to log in... If you use the invite link, it wont require a login

I still think those rims look great. Wonder if it would be too much grey with an Anthracite TL?

Guys,
the first picture is A-SPEC, that's exactly what i saw in the dealer, I saw the same brochure with my salesman about a week ago.
You can see the underbody kit, rear spoiler, and the car is kinda of low.
This picture is only for display, you can see Brombo's on, but that's not how ours come, I've seen an enlarged same picture, and the brake caliper says (Brembo), ours says Acura in White on Black.
Just wanted to confirm again, that is A-SPEC

That steering wheel is from the current TL. Odd that they would have a picture of that in the new brouchure.

Hey, are you sure that's the A-Spec? Like I said earlier, the dealer knew nothing about the A-Spec, but all the parts you see in that picture may be ordered as accessory items separately. I thought the A-Spec body kit was exclusive to that package only and that you had to get the whole kit?

Its a very small difference, kinda subtle, and unnoticable by most people, but I think it would look better on the TL than the Spoiler

OK. I think I see it now. On page two in the lower right hand corner. Yeah, I agree it looks better than the full spoiler.

Thanks!

Man, no splash guards for me this time!! That rear wing spoiler totally ruins the lines of the car. I'd rather have it bare.

I can't wait!!!! Was at the dealer this evening (again). We should hear about MSRP this week. I'm still hoping to have "my" car next week, though I am realistic enough to realize that despite the salesmens' best promises that it'll be here, I may have to wait.

I'm thinking that 40% off on accessories is a great deal to try and get if your dealer won't budge on MSRP...that means the 18" rims are actually reasonably priced - not to mention the body kit components...

I'm not sure, 2004TL, now that I see the picture of a regular spoiler I'd say it looks better than the deck spoiler does. Like you said the deck spoiler looks as if it weren't even there. I mean, why bother installing it then?

I kinda like both, but the deck looks cooler, maybe in person it may not..

The M3 Lips look good on our cars

The deck spoiler looks awesome in person. I was at the Columbus Ride and Drive this past Monday and they had a silver TL with the 18" rims, body kit and deck spoiler...it looked sweet. The brake calipers were not Brembo, however. I love the extra line they put on the bottom of the car (down the side) with the body kit package. I took lots of pictures and 2004TL is watermarking them for us so that they can be posted. So, lots of new pics are coming soon. The red TL was not there...only black, abyss blue, silver and gold. I really wanted to see the red in person, but oh well. If you guys have any quesitons, feel free to ask. I'm not going to bore you guys with a ton of info if you don't want it...so if you wanna know something, please ask. Later

I like the deck lid spoiler, just adds to the lines of the trunk and back edge of the car.

I've heard prices floating around for the 18" wheels at $379/each. Assuming this is true, does that include tires? I've never upgraded any wheels through the dealer before when buying a new car. How does it work? Do you get to keep the stock ones or do they keep it? I mean, stocks are 17" wheels and tires. I'm sure I can hawk those on ebay for $500, maybe a $1000?

Thanks for the pic 2004TL! I think I'm with some of y'all in that I'm gonna leave the lip spoiler off. In person it might look different... Have to see. My dealer called today, and they have my car sitting at the dealership! I can test drive it Friday morning (actually could tomorrow, just won't have time... )

Can't wait!
