does anyone know of 04's gettin their headlights stolen?????????

Apparently it's extremely difficult to remove them as comapred to the Maximas and other cars w/ HID's. I haven't heard of any getting stolen.

 

i did start the same thread in the third gen .....just wanted more responses....if u didnt have an answer for me, thanx 4 nada!

 

its possible but i dont think any thief would have the time to pop the hood, remove the engine cover over the radiator, remove the bumper (if they figure out how) and then attempt to take the headlights. its all too complicated, plus they might break the hids so itd be pointless if that is what they're after

Yes they stole mines last night and my cousins last week. Dude is crazy. My friends got stolen last month. Is that the response you want???? what now? does it help you in anyway.....

 

No, what really happened is - your "friends "were" stolen last month, he in-turn stole your cousins to replace his, then your cousin stole yours..... A vicious circle you live in....

 

To directly answer your question: This was a problem in the 2G TL (1999-2003). The headlights were modified so they were harder to steal in the 3G TL (2004+). I haven't heard of anyone with stolen 3G TL headlights.

 

Yeah, that happens....the entire car Didn't you know Nissan got sue by a state for that problem. Acura modify that so it doesn't happen to them....
