04 stolen headlights???
'03 stripped for parts
My '03 was stolen last month and stripped for parts. They took the headlights, taillights, seats, console, radio/cd/tape, nav unit, and most switches from the dashboard. They cut the harness and even took the shifter knob.
So yeah, I can believe somebody might want to steal your `04's headlights.

If they steal the whole car and then part it out then ... hmmm ya I think the headlights would be gone too. If you're asking about just taking the lamps and leaving the rest of the car I agree with Jatt ... Either way get the car .. why live in fear??
the 04 headlights are deisgned to be alot harder to steal than the previous gen. i've seen alot of 2nd gen TL's on the street parked at night with no headlights(kinda sad). but it would take some extra effort to get the headlights out. i would think a thief would move onto something easier like a 2nd gen or maxima.
There was one instance in Long Island, NY where the headlights were stolen from a bunch of TLs on a dealers lot in one night. They had to use sawsalls to get them out because they are #1 - Behind the bumper #2 - Bolted in.
Other than that, it's not nearly as easy or quiet to steal the 04 headlights as it was on previous gens or Maximas for that matter. You shouldn't have a problem having them stolen from your driveway or in a populated area.

I don't think you have much to worry about. According to Acura's Interactive show room, the new TL's head lights are mounted on an anti-theft bracket. Also the second gen TL's headlights could be fitted onto later model accords; If I'm not mistaken, no other car shares the same assembly as the current TL.
