I am now trying to get the airbag light out after I switched my 07 seats with a set of mint 04 seats. I come up with one code which states seat switch open. There are three plugs in the vehicle and only two plugs on the 04 drivers seat. The remaining plug holds two wires both Brown. I do not have the 07 seats anymore unfortunately, to test.
I'm thinking I can either short these two brown wires together to duplicate the switch or add some sort of resistance to trick the light. Can anyone help me on this?
My airbag light came on after my 07 seats were replaced with a set of 05 seats. The only difference is the car has three plugs for the driver's seat. Two of them match. The third plug has two brown wires which has no mate on the seat itself. Can I short these two brown wires or possibly add resistance to get my airbag light out?
Airbag Code tells me it is for a seat switch.
