Wassup 3rd gen family ! I got a question. So whenever I try to accelarate my car and shift at a high rpm I hear a thump/clunking noise near the passenger dash. Any idea what it could be ? Got 160k on my TL

When I drive normal and granny shift I dont feel the thump/clunking ..

 

There's a motor mount that's pretty easy to change yourself, located in the engine bay on the passenger side.

 

you are correct ! I went to get it checked out and it was the motor mount. 😎

 

if it's just the one I would replace it on your own. that one is the easiest to do
