Angry Recent Rear thumping Noise

Hi Guys. I recently noticed a weird thumping noise coming from the rear when driving on a really bumpy road. You know how our cars stock suspension is stiff? Well when you go over a really bumpy road the entire body of the car seems to rock back and forth. Well during this time there is a dull thumping noise that was coming out of the back of the car. It sounded almost like the rear suspension was going to fall out. Another thing I noticed was that there was more than usual vibration coming from the engine. I took it into Acura North in Toronto and they diagnosed two things. First the rear thumping noise seemed to come from some of my end links and bushings. They said that they were cracked and needed replacing ($500). The engine vibration is from 2 of my 3 motor mounts that are broken ($500). So does this make sense to you guys? Especially the cost of the repairs?

Thanks.

I asked them to throw the old stuff into my trunk. I checked it out and for real the engine mounts were broken. There was two engine mounts. One was very large and heavy and it was completely broken and then there was a smaller ring mount that was also cracked. Now the engine feels much stronger and it doesn't vibrate as much. Also about the rear noise. It was the rear antiroll bar end links that were broken. Once they were replaced I noticed a huge improvement in making turns. The car doesn't rock back and forth and it feels really tight.
