Hey -- I've got an 04 Silver/Ebony with Navi coming Feb 5 -- very excited. In my excitement, I have looked at this site and the Acura site and started to think about Anthracite with Camel.

That combo sounds pretty hot....anyone got any pictures? It's too late to change, but I'm just curious. I think that combo will be extremely distinctive.

 

Anthracite w/Camel is actually my first choice. I have a feeling Honda isn't building many of them, though. I'm going to be flexible and would also be satisfied w/Red, Green, or Desert Mist. But the Camel interior is a nice change from Parchment and with the Anthracite exterior...sounds hot. Haven't seen it in person, though.

 

did you already order/put a deposit down? it's funny -- i got a good deal from someone I know at American Honda -- and in California, you pay more....it sucks.

 

I haven't ordered yet. I think it's time to get off my butt and do so, but I'm still sort of hoping the supply of Navi-equipped TLs will loosen up so I can get a better deal than MSRP. I will be curious, though, to see if any dealers know of any Anthracite/Camel in the pipeline. When I check online inventories I never see it.

 

where do you check online inventories? I'd love to see that. I fought tooth-and-nail to get the Silver/ebony with Navi -- and the dealer worked hard to get it -- but they made sure I knew that.

Also, they had an Anthracite with Quatz....I like the anthracite -- if it had Ebony interior, i would have done it....i am very excited to get my car....

 

I think if you were to see the camel in person you may be unpleasantly surprised. As has been discussed here frequently, it is a love/hate color with the vast majority in the hate category. Obviously, I am a hater too..I think the leather is really yellow and funny looking especially against the odd light fake wood trim...of course, this is an opinion thing and for anyone who owns or likes the camel, I definately respect your opinion. I just think that you should be happy with the ebony over the camel Pete.

I visited a dealer on January 3 and put a depost on an Anthracite/Ebony MT6 with Nav. He called me this afternoon and I will be picking the car up tomorrow. Interestingly enough about 45 minutes after his call, another dealer I had been in contact with called and they had also just received an Anthracite/Ebony MT6 with Nav...

and I thought there was a shortage.....

In regard to the camel color I agree with VTEC=happiness, the camel interior was just too overstated for me...

 

I go to the individual dealer websites, which are linked from Acura's site. Some though not all have their inventory online. The info is usually incomplete, but exterior/interior color combos are usually shown.
