Looks great *but* IMHO you need to chrome the grill and license plate lip as well. There's no chrome on this car anywhere except for the three badges on the trunk and so those rims really look like they belong more on the TSX which is just laden with chrome.

So.....great job so far; now just finish it.

I see you live in Hillsboro. I assume you got the TL at Ron Tonkin, yes, no? How much did you pay, who did you deal with, and how was it? BTW, I live in Woodburn, its nice to see another local person on this forum.

IMO the Portland area is really laking in the the number of TL's on the road, oh well.

Your car looks great, too :lol2:. Nice pics, gotta love the weather this week. And I love the chrome.

the rims look far better than the lame oem no chromes. the front 'grill' looks low rent but I dont think chrome is needed on the tl. it is a complete look that is enhanced by better than oem rims. of course looks are subjective.

I really like the WDP/chrome combination (I have an 04 SSM and wonder how that combo would look).

I had a '99 3.2TL that was white with the optional Acura chrome rims and thought that chrome offset the conservative nature of white.

I have my WDP set up the same way. I agree with BoltJames, It would be nice to find a chrome front grill replacement also. But I like them better than the gun metal gray on the WDP.

wdp is cool with gunmetal rims too. I wanted to get chromes but decided to wait 2 years for when I get my ls 430.

Looks good. What I thought looks better is polished wheels. Not too reflective, not too dull. I tried polishing with a compound wheel, on a spare OEM wheel ,and its a BITCH!. So I didn`t continue with the ones on the car.

I took my new OEM wheels with the improved tires off after about 150 miles and put on Falken Torque 5's with ZIEX tires. I sure wouldn't mind sending my standard rims in
for a chrome job. Where and how much is the question.

Try your local dealer first. See if they will give you a deal. My dealer charged me 800.00 for the chrome and spoiler. If not plenty of wheel shops will do it for you. Depending on how many cotes of chrome between 100 and 200 each.
